  • What is your preschool curriculum like?
    Kiddie Karrasel Academy, Inc. offers a curriculum that supports the Iowa early learning standards and the Creative Curriculum. In addition, we enhance our program with project based themes inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning. Our classroom environment supports NAEYC's concept of developmentally appropriate practice with learning that enhances creative play, social and emotional development, language and literacy development, art, music, math, science, computer, fine and gross motor skills. With the guidance of our educated and experienced teachers, your child will leave our program properly prepared for Kindergarten with a life long love for learning.

  • What other skills will my child learn?
    Our programs are designed to provide an environment with varied experiences that will allow children to: become familiar with group settings, trust other adults and make friends, develop an interest and joy in learning, develop security and a feeling of success, develop creativity in art, play and thinking, develop self-expression, develop self-control, develop responsibility, explore and discover, experiment with music and movement, learn to solve problems, make choices and decisions, and prepare for Kindergarten.

  • Is your center accredited?
    Yes, Kiddie Karasel Academy is recently re-accredited until 2012 by NAEYC. http://naeyc.org. There are very few centers that have achieved NAEYC accreditation and we are proud to be a among those few.   • What types of meals and snacks do you serve?
    Kiddie Karrasel Academy has a healthy snack and meal policy and participates in the Iowa CACFP program serving healthy, well balanced and approved meals and snacks. We serve breakfast, AM snack, lunch and PM snack. http://www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/Care
