Our Early Learners program will keep small hands busy and minds engaged through countless activities focusing on both educational fundamentals and social skill development.

Pre-Kindergarten
Pre-Kindergarten is Monday-Friday from 9-11:30 AM. Children who turn four years old on or before September 15th and are Iowa residents are eligible to participate in Iowa's FREE Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program (SWVPP) right here at Kiddie Karrasel Academy, in partnership with the Pleasant Valley School District! Iowa's SWVPP provides four-year-olds with free access to a quality, school-readiness-focused pre-kindergarten program — and at Kiddie Karrasel, it's seamlessly built into your child's day, led by a licensed teacher in their own classroom. No extra transportation, no extra transitions, just uninterrupted learning in a place they already know and love.
For families who need more than the 9–11:30 AM preschool hours, we offer full-day wraparound care that extends before and after the pre-kindergarten program. Your child gets the best of both worlds: the academic foundation of Iowa's state Pre-K program combined with the nurturing, enriched environment of Kiddie Karrasel Academy's full-day care — all in one place, with the teachers and friends they see every day.

We carefully plan fun, hands-on lessons and activities to support the interest of each child, whether it is technology, sports, art, quiet reading, drama, organized games, cooking or science and our programs build in plenty of time for outdoor recreation and fun.
